We recently sat down with influencer Logan Bowles to talk about his amazing Amalfi Coast vacay and his love for our swim & linen!
Tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Logan. I am 29 years old. I live with my wife and 2 dogs in North Carolina. I am a M&A consultant and my wife and I love to travel the world together in our spare time. We love photography and capturing memories of our trips together. When we aren't traveling, we love to try new restaurants, boating on the lake, and being active (especially on the Peloton!)
What inspired you to visit the Amalfi Coast?
I have always dreamed of visiting the Amalfi Coast. My wife is Italian and we had never been to Italy before. Since we love beach vacations, the Amalfi Coast felt like the perfect destination. It was always on our bucket list, so it felt good to cross that one off!
What were your top 3 favourite memories/activities from your trip?
1. My favourite memory from the trip was our first full day in Capri on our anniversary. We spent the day at La Fontelina beach club (which was a dream!), rode in an open air taxi to the Dior pop up, and then went to Capri rooftop for sunset drinks and Da Paolino for dinner (super cool lemon tree restaurant giving off all the Italian vibes).
2. My next favourite memory was our boat day in Positano. We booked our boat with Positano Boats and would highly recommend them. We spent the afternoon cruising the coast and swimming in the ocean with picturesque views of Positano!
3. There are so many great memories from this trip, but my third choice would have to be our beach club/ pool day at Hotel Miramalfi. This hotel was one of our favourite places that we have ever stayed. The beach club was breath taking sitting on the cliffs of the coast.
What was your favourite meal and where would you suggest eating?
My favourite meal was Donna Stella in Amalfi. It is a small mom and pop pizza/ pasta shop and had the best food of the trip by far. I would go back 100 times over. The food in general was everything we had hoped for in Italy - major pasta and pizza overload!

What are your top packing tips for a summer getaway?
An international power adapter/ converter is a must! If you are checking luggage, airtags are also a must given all of the recent lost luggage stories. My wife and I always fit as much as we can in a carry on suit case just in case our checked bags were ever to get lost. Most importantly, you can never have enough swim suits on a beach vacation!
What tips would you give to others travelling to Europe?
If you plan to purchase any designer items, then make sure you take your passport with you to get back the VAT tax. This is a huge savings and is typically processed at customs at the airport when you leave. If you have connecting flights in Europe, be sure to check any specific requirements of the airport you are connecting through. As an example, we connected through the UK (London Heathrow) and there is a limit on how much liquid you can take in your carry on luggage (and you have to go through security again even when connecting!). My last tip is to make sure you have an international credit card with no fees. It is best to use an international card as much as possible because your exchange rates on a card are much better than exchanging your local currency for Euros.
What Vacay items did you bring with you?
Most importantly, don't forget to bring Vacay swimwear items! For this trip, I took some of my favourite swim and linen with me. As far as swim goes, I took the Hamptons, Corfu, Seville, Tuscany, Salerno, Crete, and Bonito. Vacay swim is my absolute favourite swim out there - it fits PERFECT and the quality is amazing! And for Linen, I took my long sleeve white shirt, short sleeve blue stripe shirt, short sleeve brown shirt with the matching shorts (my favourite set ever!), and the linen pants in light blue/ navy/ white. The linen is so versatile and travels with me everywhere I go - it's such great quality.
